We are inviting you and other Artists you know to apply for the New Orleans National Vodou Day Symposium dated April 5, 2025. Successful applicants will showcase their artwork according to the Symposium Submission requirements. Artists' divine artwork is important to the healing aspects for the Human Race. It can touch personal positive vibratory energies inspiring loving living practices.

What you need to know:
1. Event Overview
This art show is part of the New Orleans National Vodou Day Symposium, taking place on April 5, 2025. Local artists are invited to submit their works—paintings, sculptures, photography, or digital art. The submitted works should explore Vodou as an elemental force of change and healing, showcasing its cultural and spiritual significance.
2. Themes
The core theme is Vodou heritage, community, and cultural preservation. Submissions should reflect the transformative and restorative aspects of Vodou.
3. Submission Requirements

A short biography (100–150 words) highlighting relevant experience and background.

An Artist Statement describing your artwork.

High-quality images of your work with dimensions and medium specified.

4. Exhibition Details

The exhibition will take place during the symposium on April 5, 2025.

Only small to medium-sized pieces will be accepted. Artwork dimensions must not exceed 24 inches in any direction.

All submissions must align with the thematic focus and size requirements.

Artists requiring AV equipment for digital or interactive pieces must state this in their application.
5. Digital Images
Submit high-resolution images of your artwork (at least 300 DPI) for the initial review process.
